Soft Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 can 15 oz. pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla.
- Slowly add in the flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread in greased pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
