CommonGround Volunteer Anne Meis shares her recipe for Hearty Beef and Vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Medium Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Sliced Carrots
  • 1 Cup Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Uncooked Rice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Pound Browned Hamburger
  • 1 Can Tomato Soup

Instructions
 

  • Slice onions, carrots, potatoes, and celery.
  • Butter a slow cooker and layer with onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, hamburger, adding salt, pepper and paprika to each layer.
  • Add soup and water.
  • Place in crock pot on high for 3 to 4 hours or 4-6 hours on low.
  • Mushroom soup is good too instead of tomato.
