CommonGround Volunteer Anne Meis shares her recipe for Hearty Beef and Vegetables
- 1 Onion
- 3 Medium Potatoes
- 1 Cup Sliced Carrots
- 1 Cup Diced
- 1/2 Cup Uncooked Rice
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Pound Browned Hamburger
- 1 Can Tomato Soup
Slice onions, carrots, potatoes, and celery.
Butter a slow cooker and layer with onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, hamburger, adding salt, pepper and paprika to each layer.
Add soup and water.
Place in crock pot on high for 3 to 4 hours or 4-6 hours on low.
Mushroom soup is good too instead of tomato.
