Anita Keys, CommonGround Nebraska volunteer, shares her delicious Beef and Bean Burrito Meat recipe with Pure Nebraska viewers.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 16 Ounce Beans of choice (pinto, refried, cooked from Nebraska beans))
- 2 Cups Salsa of choice (homemade, diced tomatoes & green chilies, purchased salsa)
- 8 Ounces Grated cheese of choice
- 8 8-inch Flour tortillas
Instructions
- Brown and drain hamburger.
- Warm and mash beans. Add to brown beef.
- Add salsa and cook until desired consistency.
- At this point you can serve it warm, refrigerate or freeze for later.
- Serve on a flour tortilla with cheese, veggies, and fruit.
