Bread pudding French toast
Ingredients
- 4 beaten eggs
- 2 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 cups dry cubed French bread

- Pan of bread pudding
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a bowl beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, syrup and cinnamon.
- In an un-greased bread pan put the cubes of French bread; pour egg mixture over the top, mix and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Bake in a 325 degree oven for 55-60 minutes, until knife inserted towards the center comes out clean.
- Run knife around the edge to loosen.
- Optional items could be added like raisins, dried cherries or pecans.
- Instructions for French Toast
- Mix the egg, milk, vanilla, syrup and cinnamon in a shallow pie pan.
- Slice bread pudding into about 1 inch slices.
- Dredge in egg mixture and fry on griddle.
- Turn when crisp on bottom.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
