Susan Littlefield

Susan has been on air reporting farm news since 1990. Farm broadcasting plays a vital role with connecting farmers to important news and information that shapes their daily business decisions. Susan joined the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) in 1996, and has been active in the association holding numerous leadership positions, including National President in 2015.

Her duties as a farm broadcaster allow her the opportunity to connect with listeners and producers outside the studio walls. Susan spends countless hours reporting on events that matter to her listeners, bringing stories to producers and consumers.

Her family also farms, raising Columbia sheep for wool and meat along with dairy goats and a small feed lot. Littlefield Family Farms has been raising sheep for more than 50 years. The family takes great pride in showing animals at the state and county fair, which creates yet another touch point for industry outreach.  In her spare time Susan is a 4H leader along with a volunteer firefighter & EMT.

She is a 1994 graduate of University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and is currently the Farm Director at KRVN/The Rural Radio Network.
