2qt.corncut from the cob (4 dozen ears of corn gave me ~6 qt. This really depends on the length of the cob, fullness of the ear, variety of sweet corn, etc.)
1pt.or 2 c. water
½c.sugar
2t.salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in large pot. For example: 6 or 8 qt.
Boil 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool in container with high sides in ice water bath.
