CommonGround volunteer Jordan Classen shares her recipe for Pumpkin Bread with Pure Nebraska viewers.

 

Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs well beaten
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups pumpkin 1 can of 14 ½ to 16 oz. Size
  • 1 cup salad oil I use canola oil
  • 2/3 cup cold water
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 ½ cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Beat eggs, add sugar, beat well
  • Add pumpkin, water, oil and beat well
  • Add dry ingredients and mix well
  • Spray pans.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours if large pans. If small pans (takes about 6 small pans)
  • Bake 45-50 minutes. Enjoy!
