LSchwarz_067If you like a little sweet ‘n spice with your food, you’re going to love this recipe. We like make this with our homegrown jalapenos and herbs, and is an easy one you can throw in the slow cooker for the day and expect a great meal for dinner!




Cranberry Sauce’d Pulled Pork
2 1/2 lb boneless pork roast
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 cup cranberry jalapeno relish
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 jalapenos, chopped
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
3 sprigs worth fresh thyme
freshly ground black pepper

1. The night before you plan to serve, place all ingredients in a marinating container or resealable bag – including the cranberry jalapeno relish – recipe here. Refrigerate overnight.IMG_5870

2. The next morning, pour everything into a four quart slow cooker. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

3. Shred the pork with two forks in the slow cooker. Toss to evenly distribute the sauce. Serve on rolls.IMG_5874
